The house

Soft things, made to outlast us

Moss & Chrome began on a forest floor — offcut leather, a box of eyelets and a length of lavender ribbon. Every journal is corset-laced by hand, so the binding tightens as you fill it.

We work in tiny batches, with refillable paper blocks and hardware chosen to tarnish beautifully. Feminine, a little feral, built to be carried for years.

The collection

Current pieces

Each piece is one of one. When it's gone, it's gone.

How it's made

Three hands-on stages, no shortcuts

01

Cut

Leather hides are chosen for grain, then cut and folded around a refillable paper block.

02

Punch

Eyelets are set by hand along every edge — the part that takes the longest.

03

Lace

Ribbon, lace or cord is corset-laced through, finished with a pearl or stone clasp.
